My best friend's daughter died from cancer at 17. She was a cheerleader and she was loved by everyone. I sat at her funeral crying and this song came on the radio 😢. I'll never forget how beautiful and strong that young girl was ❤

@@peggyford108 being a parent myself, with a daughter that will turn 1 year old in 5 days, it's amazing how differently things hit you as a parent. I can't even watch tv shows or movies where something happens to a baby/kid anymore. I watched 2 of my mom's siblings bury their kids when I was a teenager and it was hard on me as a kid losing my best friends, but to look at it from a parental standpoint now, it's unreal. I can see why you'd have to get up the nerve to go to a funeral. Hits a little too close to home!

Nice! Very nice groove and a thumping bottom section. Been a fan since '74. So many great tunes form this guy over theyears, and his associations and collaborations with some of the most legendary musicians is long.

One of my favourite JB songs - for a great cover check out the Hindley Street Country Club (HSCC) version. It is a live recording and really does justice to the song.

Love Jackson Browne. But if he really wanted to stop nuclear power that he is using right now to do his gig, unplug the instruments and go acostic. Then the plants will shut down for no usages! Now do you know how it works? The power of the greenbacks.
