If only I had known what a Beautiful, Magical Time the 80s were! I would give up so much to live in that era again.

It's always a great time to be alive. Just because the past is no longer the present doesn't mean one can't still appreciate the ways things once were. But to lament that the past is no longer the present is to miss out on some of the wonderful things that the current present has to offer. I loved the 80's when I was living them. I don't miss some of the technological disadvantages the 80's had compared to now though. I love that I can almost instantaneously stream an old John Huges film on my smart TV or an 80's new wave playlist on my smart phone.

I lived in England from 1979 to 1981. I recall riding the tubes of London with my parents and seeing all the different fashions. The punk style was really starting to come on strong at the time. I loved the mode style too which was actually started back in the 1960's but seemed to have a short-lived resurgence in the early to mid 80's. I miss England a lot. I miss the Fish & Chips, double decker buses, red phone booths (I think you all called them call boxes), the posters hanging up in the "London Underground", not to mention the higher quality television at the time. Given what I'm reading in today's newspaper, I really hope everything sorts itself out for the better and that the future of Great Britian remains a bright shining star.

I remember going out to the movies with my friends to go see this movie when i was a teenager i was about 15. Didn't care much about girls at the time. But when this movie was over, all i wanted was a girlfriend. But i only wanted Kelly Le Brock for my girlfriend, still do today at 55. lol

That tallest guy in the scene you're talking about was also standing against the wall in the movie Sixteen Candles in the gym. He was standing next to John Cusack watching Molly Ringwald in the dancing scene in the gymnasium.

No it was not. I've gotten a lot of critics telling me that I used the wrong movie for this song. But I make this videos for fun so I'm not concerned about using the "correct" song for any particular movie. When I was growing up I found Suzanne Snyder and Kelly LeBrock to be quite lovely so I decided use Weird Science for this song.
