I installed my totalscan transducer through the scupper hole with some slight modifications to get it to stay solid underneath and it worked great!

Can you go into more detail on what modifications you made? I have a totalscan transducer and I am trying to figure out the best way to mount it with the plastic bracket that came with it. Maybe a video? Thanks.

Great vid...im grom Hinton WV...so I fish the new and greenbrier rivers. I have a 2017 jackson big rig... cant decide on ff but between a ramarine dragonfly 7 pro and a garmin striker plus 7 cv for the mapping. I run whitewhater....ever seen those 2 mounted in the scupper? How do they fit? Protected?

hey man, I cant give you an honest opinion about the garmin but the Jackson boats are designed to hold the ramarine transducer. I use lowrance and they fit easily except for the total scan transducer which is way to big for the molded transducer scupper

The garmin CV52HW-TM transducer is the one im looking at...it looks to be 6 inches long, but thicker than the raymarine

I just got a Coosa FD...where did you find the Mayfly Bin that's in your front hatch? I'd like to get one and didn't see it on the Jackson Website. Good video btw.

DEMRATS KAYAK'N the bin that I have came with my mayfly. You should be able to get ahold of your Jackson dealer and have them order one for you. They are really handy

No. I wrap it in electrical tape.

I was told the total scan transducer would not read side scan unless you mount it on a arm over the side if the kayak, wish Jackson would make a scupper plug kit for the Coosa hd, your homemade kit looks great but I'd don't own any tools anymore they were stolen from me, which is why I'd like to buy something specific for it

It worked great. I now am running the same fishfinder with a total scan transducer on a yakattack arm over the side. The total scan transducer would not fit in the scupper hole.
