Thanks for the comment Paul I was curious why you mentioned Boothbay and then I realized I was wearing a Boothbay Harbor T-shirt. Very observant of you. We used to live in Maine and went for a visit in Sept 2021. It was fun visiting the old stomping grounds, drinking Moxie, and eating Humpty Dumpty (all dressed up) potato chips. We even spent a day at the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Here is a short video. kzitem.info/news/bejne/uIyM34ihp3aGi4osi=AFYcslN7yNrlyWOz I was even wearing the same shirt. LOL.

@NativesunrealtyJacksonville lol that's awesome! Thank you for sharing that with me. I was in Winthrop Maine at my cousin John's lake house or as they are known "camps" lol absolutely breath taking being right on the lake. I didn't want to come home to Florida (Clay county). I will return to my new home away from home asap but till then ill live in my memories and pictures.

We lived pretty close to Winthrop in a tiny town called Litchfield near the southern end of Cobbosecontee Lake . We used to take a conoe out onto the Lake and fish. I have to say that the mosquitos bit far more than the fish. Maine has the most mosquitos I have ever seen. Voracious! When the sun goes down you have to coat yourself with Ben's or run for cover.

@NativesunrealtyJacksonville Florida is a hard second place then lol but yeah that was the lake I was on. Still a world nicer then here (fl) all though FL does have its super beautiful spots but these days more and more people are moving here so space is quickly being consumed.

is it hard to get a job in Florida and whate do that pay
@NativesunrealtyJacksonville
7 ай бұрын
Not hard at all. Nearly every place of business I walk into has a now hiring sign posted. Pay will depend on what skills and experience you bring to the table. Unskilled employees can expect $13 - $15 per hour.

k@@NativesunrealtyJacksonville k i live in MN and call random jobs in Florida fastfood you name it they all say they're not hiring just taking applications and if there are a lot of jobs why are there so many homeless people in Florida
@NativesunrealtyJacksonville

Unemployment rate in Florida is 3%. Anyone not working right now does not want to work. Walk into any retailer and you will see a now hiring sign. Advertisements on the radio seeking tradespeople. Roofing companies, plumbers, electricitans, HVAC, you name it. As far as homeless go I would say that there are fewer homeless here than many other parts of the country. However, just like anyone else, If I were a homeless person I would want to live in Flortida.

Thanks for the comment. Tarpon are very acrobatic and exciting to catch You must have been beat after a three hour fight. A spectacular game fish. Did you have to cut your line to get him off?

@@NativesunrealtyJacksonville No this was back in 05' We used ballons and floated it out with outgoing tide. It was just shy of a 4 hr fight. We would bring em down the side of the pier and beach em for pictures and the push em back out.

They took forever to fix it and also charging $4-5 every time for fishing sucks
@NativesunrealtyJacksonville
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I agree, it did take longer than expected. However, the finished product was worth the wait. Since the pier cost $11.6 mil to build a few buck to get on it seems like a small price to pay. I can see how $4 a day would add up if you went every day though.

Do you happen to know how responsible the people who fish there are with their trash? It’s sad to see how some don’t seem to care about leaving bits and pieces of bait on the railings, fishing line, trash, etc. for others instead of taking the time to properly dispose. We sure don’t need to add more trash to the ocean or the beaches.
