I doubt there is anyone on this planet who would not be moved by listening Jaques Loussier’s interpretation of Jesu Joy of man’s desiring 37:04 it is as captivating, as it is beautiful. He’s faithful to Bach and innovative at the same time. I’ve loved his music for over 55 years and had the privilege of hearing his trio performing in person during his 1966 tour in U K.

It does not matter what this trio plays, they are good, and interesting, and you want to hear them often. They are even better if you already know well,.... the particular composers and their compositions.

This is glorious music! My late father (d. 1982) was seduced by JLT's interpretations of J S Bach. Prior to that he was strictly conservative, very little later than Mozart and Beethoven sort-of-thing. I can only wish Dad were alive today to enjoy what KZitem provides for we 'musos'.

My dad landed on this surfing channels back in 1989 and we watched this in awe. This was when I developed a love for jazz. I was raised on Bach so this struck a chord (pun intended). Thanks for sharing. Brings back a lot of memories for the young teenager in me.
