The saddest thing no one ever told ELVIS when he was alive, that he had great acting talent. He probably never knew the degree of his talent and just like he once thought he wasn't capable of singing ballads, he felt he wasn't worthy as a serious actor. After all, he wasn't given any serious movie scripts that he could grow into becoming that serious actor he longed for since King Creole, a couple movies came close, but stopped short of a serious role and became another musical. He tired of it when his acting contract ended he wanted to go back to performing before a live audience. He always said he missed it. He made the Hollywood studios Filthy Rich, as well as his scandalous promoter, Andreas also Filthy Rich. He didn't care, it was never about the money for him, he didn't have hate or greed in him. His Heart and Soul was pure gold💛 he did more good with his never ending generosity and kind Spirit than anyone could ever do in their Lifetime. In reality, his Life was never really His Own, he wanted to share as much of his Life with everyone, if he possibly could, and he accomplished that and more in his short 42 years on this earth. farewell sweet ELVIS. You fought Your Battle and won. May You Rejoice in the Glory of JESUS. May You have PEACE and Love with Your Mama and Jessie.✝️♾️♥️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️. 6-24-22

@@Cynthia00007 You are absolutely right! Only Ann Margret in her interview asked. Why didn't they tell him that he was so great when he was alive? just for envy and jalousy. Too sad.

It's amazing how shitty the "heroes" treated women in movies around that time. What an ass the character Elvis is. It seems as if it's the other way around in movies today.

you are right, but he was portraying a man whose emotions had been flattened by being unjustly sent to prison, for defending a woman in a bar from a violent man. in the story in the movie, we see how he finally recovers his ability to care about other people again....the film is the story of a decent man who becomes bitter and harsh, but then finds his way back to decency with the aid of some true friends. hope you get a chance to see the entire film

@@essessessesq I actually would like to see it. In a way it is a pity something like this would not be shown today even though they let women do the same to men today. What is interesting is how the woman is really helping him out. Today men have to be even more men than before and be the rock for a hysteric woman, or be her financial help.
