This LRT Jakarta line while migth not connected with other rail transport, for now when this comment written, is actually the most propper built infrastructure after MRT Jakarta. While the train are curently only run with two cars the station already designed to manage 6 cars of train (or 8, I don't really know so CMIIW). Station facility, architecture, interior, and connection to near public area are definitely better than the goofy ahh LRT Jabodebek stations. Not to mention the construction pace are actually the fastest among other rail transit in Jakarta. Im amazed how quick the construction of the Manggarai extension from the groundbreaking to now with pilars already built.

The current stations are built for 6SF. Also yeah, construction is actually going a bit faster than expected. I think there's a positive deviance between expected vs real

Biggest problem for LRT Jabodebek right now is how slow the trains are when entering/exiting the stations. Also that LRT's lack of connections to public areas might be because East Jakarta is kind of lacking in public areas. Mostly just houses and offices.

Can you please review LRT Jabodebek next? One thing I've noticed is that they've sped up the trains when turning from Kuningan to Pancoran, which makes it feel slightly faster but now it makes the same "roaring" noises as MRT turning from Fatmawati to Cipete Raya. Also I definitely hope to see LRT Jakarta being extended to Manggarai quickly, to reduce the burden of Corridor 4. Your review is excellent as always!

Not gonna lie, besides the extension to Manggarai that's currently being worked on, the other routes are kinda "gak jelas nasibnya" lol. The only other proposed line that I think will be worked on next is the tiny extension to Dukuh Atas (phase 1C).

Karena rencananya pendanaan ya di dapat dari proyek reklamasi .15% keuntungan hasil penjualan lahan di berikan ke pemerintah Jakarta Untuk bangun LRT.jadi gak beban dengan APBD . Tapi kan warga jakarta milih macet makanya dibatalkan.

@@rizkyadiyanto7922 bukannya itu diambil oleh pusat pakai LRT Jabodetabek. Jadi jakarta bisa fokus ke modal yang lain seperti bangun LRT lingkar jakarta. Atau Transjakarta koridor layang 14& 15

@@rizkyadiyanto7922 I think so too, but I'm not sure when it'll start, and the median between Rawamangun and Halim is quite challenging, given the small roads and the land ownership around Halim (and also how to build the transit area that connects LRT Jabodebek, Whoosh, and LRT Jakarta to each other properly).

merasa bersyukur pas line ini dibuka, karna dr dulu selalu bingung kl ke daerah gading tuh mau naik apa😂 smnjak ada ini, udh berkali2 main ke gading. sayangnya yg proper utk transit mnurut saya baru di stasiun Velodrome aja. yg lainnya masih lack of choices😢 smoga pembangunan lrt ke manggarai cepet selesai supaya makin terintegrasi ya transportasi di Jakarta🎉

LRT Jakarta is one of the best rail services in Indonesia i use them when i travel to MKG. While the trains are usually 2 cars, they can sometimes be extended to 4-cars or 6-cars whenever there is high demand. Hopefully with the extensions explained in the video the trains are frequently 4-6 cars long. And i never knew this LRT was going to be extended to PIK. My personal opinion is this: have LRT Jakarta be integrated with LRT Jabodebek so we can see the two differences of the LRT trains.

0:52 pada saat pembangunan mrt 2013. Pak Jokowi dan pak ahok. Bertanya kenapa mrt gak pakai standar internasional gate 1,435 mm. Biar produksi dan pemeliharaan lokomotif lebih murah . Dan gak terjebak harus impor dari jepang seperti KRL. Tapi karena sudah di disain seperti itu dan kalau di ubah mrt bisa mundur 2-3 tahun .jadi mrt dengan gauge 1.067 mm dilanjutkan Demi masa depan kereta api , guna mempermudah integrasi dengan kereta api di seluruh dunia dan perjalanan antar negara sangat penting bagi Indonesian untuk pindah dari 1.067 mm ke gauge 1.435mm dan menggunakan 50kv Ac untuk rel utama (over head wife) . Dan 1,5kv DC (third rail) seperti sanghai metro . 😂tapi mahal sih .dan mungkin gak pernah terjadi. Walaupun mulai sekarang pembangunan rel baru akan menggunakan 1.435mm. 0:57 Ini sangat disayangkan sih sih karena menggunakan Elektrifikasi kayak lama 750v DC yang kurang optimal dibandingkan yang baru1.500v Dc. Padahal cina ada teknologi ya.tapi lrt jakarta kerja sama dengan Korea salatan. Dan Korea Selatan menggunakan 750 dc untuk rel ketiga .

You forgot to mention that there's currently a Zombie Survival Game going on the LRT Jakarta where several stations has "Zombies" and Missions that needs to be accomplished. Literally just 2 days ago I rode the LRT from MKG via Boulevard Utara Station heading for the Halim Highspeedrail Station. Carrying a huge backpack in which it might look like I was gonna bomb MKG as I literally went to MKG to get lunch. When I reached platform level, there's literally an alarm sound like the ones you hear when you're playing COD Stealth mode and then somebody founds you on then rings the alarm. And there was a signed apologizing for the inconvienience due to the Zombie Survival Game. Get on the LRT and when it stopped at Boulevard Selatan, there's zombies and front car-side of the platform eating someone and then like 8 people participating the Survival Game along with 1 guard carrying a M15-like toy gun then board the front car, which I heard that if there's zombies on the next stop, they must stay inside the train and when there's not they need to continue the mission. Long story shot we arrived at Equestrian Station and then there are zombies in the platform. As soon the door opens, the zombies rushed to the front car door and the guard just shoots all of them. Eventually me and the Zombie Survival Group get off at Velodrome in which i continued to Halim Station by Gojek, as the time was not enough for catch the 4K to Penas Kalimalang

Untuk LRT Jakarta ke Selatan via Klender - Pondok Bambu - Halim setuju banget dibangun, minimal yang dibangun harus ke Klender dulu jadi orang2 Bekasi yang mau ke Kelapa Gading buat kerja bisa pake LRT. Untuk ekstensi Line Halim ke Pondok Gede & Pasar Rebo mungkin agak repot teknis bangunnya. Karena di desain awal ke Halim tuh ke Stasiun KCIC Halim via Kalimalang bukan ngelewatin Jembatan Exit Toll Jatiwaringin karena di daerah itu deket jalur pendaratan pesawat Bandara Halim.

IMHO Transjakarta Line 4 is now more comfortable than it's ever been with ample seating space and extremely cool AC, provided you can withstand sitting 2 whole hours to get from one end of Jalan Pramuka to Manggarai

As native of Pondok Bambu area, which is the place for future LRT extension, I am wondering how those line will be built after Klender Station. Because after Klender will be Pahlawan Revolusi street (Transjakarta 4F line). Why I am wondering? that because the road is damn narrow, a construction of LRT could caused temporary closure of the road.

Kalau rel ada di depan toko mu nilai property naiklah bukan turun. Tapi orang jakarta Hanay mementingkan kepentingan sesaat yang Hanay bisa mereka lihat

I mean Cakung has Pulogebang terminal and has direct access to the Cikarang line. I don't think they're isolated, just that the quality of the existing lines (especially angkot and non brt) can be improved

As much as i hope for better transport from and to PIK district, i may have to sniff some copium than being hopeful for an LRT to PIK at this point. Yes sure we got a bus, but mostly Hino DAMRI bus + rough ride, good luck not being tired after disembark (on the bright side, they are available until 11PM, but ye.)
