This MAN is one of many reasons why I stand for the flag and anthem!

It just doesn't get any harder than this man. A national fucking treasure, and from what I know of him I'd imagine that solo cup is topped off with something over-proof.

Sorry about the background noise from the trucks. It couldn't be helped because we were right alongside the highway. Otherwise, Jake tells us some very interesting anecdotes about the war, many of which we'd never heard before.

Thank you for recording this video of Jake. I watched all three of the videos and truly enjoyed listening to his insight and wisdom of War and on how it was. Very awesome video.

I hope we realize this man is a hero. He did what he was told the right thing at the time for our lives to be what great thing we have today!

How fortunate the group was to have Mr. McNeice visit and join in. Is the enactment still a yearly ongoing? I drive through Peru every day commuting to work. The old brick factory seems more than suitable for hunting Kraut’s.

Yes, the event has been ongoing every year since 2004. I and a few other guys have been coordinating and running the event for awhile now. I've also shot several films up there over the years.

The nonchalance of some attending, im not sure they know what an opportunity of warm-blooded history were in the presence of. Last chance to be physically in the presence of what will soon only be in books or video.

3:26 it honestly kinda irritates me that these guys had no questions for a guy who did what he did. You could ask that man anything, and they seem uninterested.

Damn. Had to kill women and children. You can tell he took no pleasure in it. I can't imagine what that does to a man.

I've been watching everything I can find on this incredible man. In this day of this woke garbage and the crap going on with that, to have this tough hardened man give an accounting of his life, makes me wish I was from his era. RIP, you were a great man.

Anyone who thinks that bad stuff doesn't happen in war is either so naive they cant see straight or lives in a world that has rainbow colored skys/ reality is war is about destroying your enemy by any means necessary/ its so crazy to think there are people that think when your in hell you should cunduct yourself as an Angel

I think those boys are just nervous around him and thats why their not asking questions/that and Jake, even growing up poor, and rual Oklahoma in the 40's is still better educated than at least 99% of those boys standing around him, so a lot of them probably dont even know what hes talking about😂😢
