Julia and Chris are my two all time favourites. I love loads more satirists, but what her and Chris do is so beautifully twisted and thought-provoking. I’ve rewatched Jam, Brass Eye, Four Lions, Camping and Nighty Night so many times.

In all seriousness though, children can be replaced and the younger they are, the quicker the process. However, material possessions are often A LOT more difficult to find again or afford! But tell that to parents in hospital and they look at you like you are Lord Voldemort or something.

Morris really captures the whole look of the upper middle class ‘cultured’ type parents who portray this worldly and liberal attitude to the extreme. Can often be found in trendy Italian restaurants talking utter shite and driving Tesla’s in this day and age

The idea was good but went too far. The casual disinterest bit at the kid not coming home from school for six hours was funny but was ruined by taking it into callous psychopathic indifference.

Could have been a brilliant dig at the over-protection of kids by neurotic parents these days but they totally ruined the sketch which Morris tended to do at times, have a great idea and just push it too far going for the cheap shock over the subtle intelligent observation.
