Yes, concur that was the movements during the 70’’s. It also lasted many years before the transformation in Jamaican music and styles of dancing changed. Just like fashion: Things always make its way back and the next generations don’t always know this because the previous ones don’t always share information. Cultural exchange through music and other areas are positive to see how much we all have in common and inherited from the past.

Jamaicans and Haitians are one people... hati ,jamaica and Dominican rep is actually the top of the same mountain.. if u research history a very long time ago you could swim from parts of jamaica to hati but over time these areas were taken by the sea.. there is documented history but one must search...they might be cousins from way back as slavery..
