I always feel like because of my faith I have to myself create the works that show my faith. Thank you for the reminder that these works should come from Christ! I need to go to the source, spend more time in the Word and in God’s presence, rather than thinking I can will up these works myself. Thank you for making these Bible study videos!

I think the way i am gonna apply this is , just gonna pray more especially in areas where i dont see any fruits or im still not able to surrender some things..so im praying about all that ..im also praying for more strength to endure temptations and hardships and bad days with gods grace, without just jumping to my own thoughts..

James 2:14-17 seems to conflict with Ephesians 2: 8-9. But, really it doesn't! You did a beautiful job explaining the faith and works confussion! I admire you for tackling these controversial passages! Very nice work!! 👍

This is common argument among denominations and to those who want to seek holes and contradictions with the book. I'm not a religious person but I can say that we shared the same view and understanding of that " mystery ". Faith and work co-exist. Work will flow naturally like water from the bottom of your heart thru faith and not by command. The very reason Paul said that he didn't break the law but instead uplifting it.
