I had this game on C64 and played it often, it reminded me of moon patrol, which is similar but has auto scroll and was a harder to play! Nice memory!

I was thinking of that game too

The SG-1000 version is the only decent version of this game as it doesn't have rapidly flashing colours or obnoxiously loud/prolonged sound effects.

This game reminds me of a version of Moon Patrol with the James Bond theme added.

So a poor man's Moon Patrol without parallax scrolling but an added undewater segment. (where you get to throw bombs at scuba divers!) It is impressive that the fly-by sprites look SO MUCH better on the 2600, compared with the TMS9918 in the ColecoVision and SG-1000, or its own 8-bit ANTIC cousins, the 400/800 and 5200.

And that bomb element, along with the undersea terrain is very much like Scramble. So a Moon Patrol/Scramble mash-up!

i sense pretty low effort on all platforms tbh :( and if i didnt read the name of the game titles onscreen, i would never know this wasnt some space invaders, moon patrol/army moves type game.

Terrible game on all platforms, regardless of the graphics.

They're all shit, but the Commodore 64 is supposed to have better graphics and sound!

Other than the 8-bit Atari yes. Version for 800 and 800XL/65XE/130XE is far superior to C64 version. Source: owned and currently own these.

the commodore 64 one is like seeing GameCube graphics on a Nintendo Switch.
