He wrote 'Jesus the Christ' in an upper room in the Salt Lake Temple, and once read one can see the divine inspiration and structure of this amazing piece of historic literature. Talmage was truly a treasure for us, the Church, and God. What an amazing person!!!

I never could get into reading that book, that dense academic language in it always put me to sleep before I got too far into it.

I wonder if Talmage ever rubbed shoulders with Einstein! I heard once that they were acquaintances!

I am not a Mormon but I long ago recognized Mr. Talmage as one of the first genius-scientists of the West. It would have been illuminating to eavesdrop on an Einstein-Talmage conversation.

@@rudymartinez6242 I read somewhere that James Talmage said there were two stories. One in the crust of the Earth and the other in the Holy scriptures... And one day we will all understand that the two stories are telling us the same story!

But if you were close to God you’d know he communicates with his people. Mankind didn’t decide these peoples calling they were just willing to fulfill Gods for ordained calling for them. Learn to discern and you’ll be told truth too.

The more outside people criticized the Church of Jesuschrist LDS, I more found outside that 98% of humanity are very ignorant. The pineal gland was given to special people to create and be prominent on the earth

Was Talmage as big of a Polytheist as Smith? What kind of scientist FAILS to be objective and not realize the LDS claim that God is a man is a direct contradiction to the Bible???
