If you don't cry when you watch Braveheart you don't have a heart. This song is so deeply touching and beautiful. When I listen to this I understand why I always were so fascinated by the celts when I were a kid/ teenager. They have honor and they love their freedom. And they never gave up despite all the sorrow and pain they had to deal with. First the Romans and later England. Hundreds of years of torture, murder and death. And yet they never surrendered. These people truly are one of the bravest and most honorable who ever walked on God's green earth. May He bless all the irish,Scottish and Welsh people. God between you and all harm.

I saw Braveheart for the first time on 9/10/01 on a VHS tape and I couldn't get the soundtrack out of my head the whole day and night. The next day when the towers fell I was still thinking about it. Especially the Gift of Thistle theme. It will always remind me of September 11th. So sad and melancholic.

Sometimes a man’s heart takes him beyond the limits of this world. When he finally finds someone worth fighting for he gives everything within his power and more to reach them. Only in that moment does he really feel alive, knowing he will never be complete until he is united with his beloved. How I long for thee, until that day I tarry long, broken, incomplete, finding strength in the God that made me to bare that cross. For love is strong as death…

One time I was standing on a cliffside overlooking the ocean and the sunset. It was truly beautiful. I played this song and my inner feelings helped me take it in. It’s truly something that makes me appreciate the beautiful earth and works outside of our own imperfect life. To realize the beauty in the world that’s always been there while we deal with our own challenges. That same day I lost a friendship earlier due to a breakup. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through since I’ve done so much for her and she threw me away for her own issue. It’s good to realize what’s around us even if we don’t focus on it, the good things in life we don’t think about every day, but always remained here with us.

Que lindo essa declaração.... É inexplicável o que sinto ouvindo essa canção, como tantas pérolas em uma melodia que transporta almas , corações, amores... De minha vida.... Mostra o significado da nossa existência.... Um Deus maior

HIS name is Yeshua not jesus💛🔥 The letter j didn't exist until 1524. Yeshua means SALVATION in hebrew. jesus has no meaning in hebrew but means "hail zeus" in latin! Also in 1540, one of the first two English slave ships to carry West Africans to the "New World" was named jesus... The name Jesus was created to enslave people. The name Yeshua holds TRUE power and thats why they changed it... People also didn't have last names back in the day. So Christ was not originally a name but a title derived from the Greek word Christos, which translates the Hebrew term meshiah (Messiah), meaning “the anointed one.”. HalleluYah! Hosea 4:6 "My people parish for a lack of knowledge, because thou hast rejected knowledge, i will also reject thee" Amein💛

This is the most beautiful piece of music I have heard in my life. It’s followed me to this day 22/11/22 🔥⭐️ I will be forever grateful for James Horner. The gift 🔥🔮 Do you hear it too? The combination of two beautiful cultures. Combined and carried across oceans. I imagine that it’s a tale of being taken to an unfamiliar place and yearning to return home. I imagine that it’s a story told of a time when the lights dimmed. When they thought time was running out. I imagine it’s a farewell I love you moment. Energy never dies. If there is a connection? It can be revived. No matter how long ago it existed. Usually a connection to the land is more powerful than to a shield. Activating a heartfelt... ripple affect🔥🧚♂️🕊🥰🧿🌀☮️🦅🦅🦅

James Horner. - A gift of a Thistle. This is a beautiful piece of music. It just glides along like the galleon. Truly enjoyable to listen to many times over. The video photography is really lovely with the reflections across the water. An absolute classic …. Well Done 👍

Wow i just came across this song by accident and instantly i remembered braveheart! Love this song im gonna save it to my playlist ❤. Definitely makes you feel something deep almost like becoming aware of a time that no longer exists. A time of real people real love and real hardships . Everybody seems to be under a spell now... too desensitized with our smartphones and flatscreen tvs to feel anything anymore.

Great point. So true. I can't agree more. I am so sick and tired of smartphones and tv and what they're doing to society and people. But yet here I am typing on a smartphone haha. It grieves me I tell you. We must transition to a more human experience. And no more of this rotten technology...

Absolutely gorgeous things are those what automatically inspire you to lend your hand, not for the sake of any benefit or without bringing up any profitable intention. If you show innocence to a good heart then it's not only your good but it's an identification that humanity is still breathing at the shores of your heart.
