I met dream theater outside their tour bus in Columbus Ohio a few years back. It was during The Astonishing Tour. James Labrie literally complained about taking pictures with fans as he taking a picture with me. What a dick hole.

I get that they're human and you can get pissed at times and want to be left alone. But fans are often driving hours and hours just to see you life. Try to be kind ffs - even if it's just a facade...Have some respect. If he doesn't wanna stand in the limelight he should simply stop singing in DT and lead a private life.

This singing is almost indistinguishable from the sort of drivel DT fanboys defend on a daily basis. A part of me wonders if they defend it precisely because they know it's awful... like they are.

@@theravenskillrebelmilitia139 I'm gathering they DT are a bunch of assholed. They don't let musicians write their own parts. After decades of touring they won't allow a break to recuperate even after seeing what this has done to their singer. Lastly why does the singer look so fucking weird, he has this kinda If Voldemort mixed with worm tongue from LOTR and fuck ton of makeup. Jordan did a clinic at a local guitar centre when I worked there, I was around 23, I don't remember him being shifty or nice. His tour manager (note this was a one off) was an absolute cunt. We got the wrong chocolate from his Ryder (yes he had a Ryder for a clinic) and the guy almost had an heart attack, he also threw gear at any employee in distance to carry Jordan's shit in so god wouldn't have to risk his fingers

@@Livelaughlimpbizkit I heard a negative story about Jordan from someone who was friends with a tech for Rod Morgenstein (Winger's drummer, who was in something called The Rudess-Morgenstein Project). Basically, the accusation is that Rudess is super cheap, and likes hiring non-unionized amateurs to work for him, so he can get away with paying them as little as possible.

Tiring of William Langer's comments. Every single one is a contradiction passed off as subtlety. LaBrie sounds terrible... but I wouldn't say he's untalented. I think Jeff Scott Soto is a good singer... but I hate his voice. You're not as deep you think you are, bro.
@aaronhenning5184

I enjoyed Soto when he sang for Malmsteen. The live Sons of Apollo album really shows him struggling to still sing like he could back in the day. A lot of singers just didn't take care of their voices while they were young and it really shows

@@reactions4u438 Depends whether you're talking about live or studio vocals. I've always said that live, his vocals got unacceptably bad between 1999 and 2002. First studio album which is a major disappointment for LaBrie imo was The Astonishing. That album got hyped so much in terms of the vocals, but all of the character voices sound similar, and the album is full of pitch correction artifacts and badly-spliced together vocal takes.
