I’m loving the relationship between Marnie and Juliet and the fact that Marnie has taken Juliet to heart treating and loving her like she’s her daughter instead of just a troubled child that’s just related to her son and grandson and has a junkie for an actual mother. It’s been lovely watching them grow closer and not having Juliet being treated as an outcast anymore and instead having a proper mother and daughter bond. And also the fact that not only does James properly see’s and treats Romeo as his son but also Romeo referring to him as “dad” when talking about or actually speaking to James directly.

Sara Nissen that's exactly what he does and I hate kyle with both james and Nancy. I mostly hate him with Nancy because they straightwashed him. He could have got with Nancy without having sex with her. He identifies as gay yet he sleeps with her. Bad writing but anyway yeah you are right.

@@dannynix4546 I can understand why you don't like, that they made him bi, and it reminds me of what they did with Harry and the Sady/baby storyline, because since he got with Ste/came out he hadn't looked at/talked about girls that way, and suddenly she was pregnant. I think this will be a one off of James hitting and nearly full on attacking Romeo! James face spoke volumes when Romeo yelled “Dad no!” I think this will be a turning point for him seeing the fear in his own son’s face just as he was about to attack him properly like Mac use to do to James. James has said time and time again that he “doesn’t want to turn in to father.” Hearing the exact same words that he use to say to his own father said back to him from his own son might just be the wake up call James needs.

Jordan Poyant I’m talking about him abusing his own son just like his father did to him and his mother to some extent! I don’t think he’ll hit or attack Romeo again after what he said because that’s what he use to say to Mac when he was beating and abusing James. He seemed to snap out of his blind rage when he heard Romeo say that and the look of horror and disgust was written all over his face when he realised what he’d done and what he was about to do to his own child!

Coincidental that he hit Romeo in front of The Loft where Brendan used to be, where he'd abuse Ste, where his father was about repeat his childhood abuse, where Cheryl killed her father, where Brendan took the heat for it and confessed to all his murders and landed in jail. The thought just flashed in my mind, what if the twist was that if Brendan did return, he'd end up coupling up with James! That would be random and a possibly dangerous dynamic . Anyway, this isn't about Brendan. We're seeing more into James.
