please tell me who you all feel was better in the playoffs between the 1997 and 1998 sonics and why and please tell me who you all feel was the most elite in the playoffs between the 1978 1980 and 1987 sonics and the 1989 and 1990 bulls and why plus i'll say the goats are wilt chamberlain and bill russell and michael jordan wasn't quite as legendary as kareem abdul-jabbar oscar robertson wilt chamberlain and bill russell

Jim McIlvane was the ultimate 1 trick pony in his short lived NBA career. He could block shots and pretty much do nothing else of value on the floor. It's mind boggling Seattle gave this hack such a bloated contract but wouldn't take care of their best player Shawn Kemp. It led to Kemp forcing a trade from the Sonics which ultimately happened before the 97-98 season with the 3 team blockbuster deal that brought Vin Baker to Seattle. Baker wasn't as effective in Seattle as Kemp was and Kemp never thrived in Cleveland the way he did in Seattle.

Statistic-wise Kemp was better in Cleveland but didnt had better support!
