@@suzannal.8567 the reason why I brought up Kyrgios plea is to show that he is an arrogant bully that jumps to conclusions without sticking to facts. His violent behavior doesn’t affect his game to a certain point. A violent person could abuse balls and racquets and cause court incidents. Not a great role model. And guilty. Sinner instead , like it or not, did not have an active role in his doping. Believe me, these courts that rule on doping are strict enough to suspend players quickly. I like Sinner because he doesn't give a shit. There is a sarcastic "philosophy of life" in Rome that embodies this concept: "Esticazzi?!" Literally translated it is "and these dicks?!". Simply put, when everyone is focused on something they think is important, but you don't care. Example: - Hi Marco, did you hear that Luca bought a new car? -....Aaah...Esticazzi!? The tone with which "esticazzi" is said is important, halfway between fake surprised and fake interested.

I think the Sinner doping was handled right. He was able to figure out very fast how the tinny sample could have got into his body. Unfortunately a lot of other's in the same situation don't know and also most time the results of samples return a much higher amounts. He was able to successfully defend himself and other tennis players shouldn't moan about the fact he could. Do people think if Novak Djokovic was in the same situation he wouldn't defend himself.

Kyrgios is absolutely right when he talks about preferential treatment thanks to his fame, expensive lawyers and a 2-year sentence. In fact, 2 years are foreseen for domestic violence, not disqualification, but prison, and this for violence against his ex-girlfriend, a crime for which he was tried in February 2023 in the Canberra court. His expensive lawyers, after failing to prove that the facts did not occur, brought forward the thesis of mental infirmity, a thesis that was accepted, therefore he was acquitted on the grounds that he had committed "a single act of stupidity and frustration" and not for not having committed the act. (and if anyone still hasn't understood, the victim is called Chiara Passari and the accused Nick Kyrgios)

Anyone who writes that Sinner is doped is essentially one of the following categories: either he is a hater of his, or a toxic fan of others, or a troll who only wants to provoke, or someone who speaks by hearsay without knowing the facts, the rules and the ITIA documents. The ruling of the independent tribunal, with the positive opinion of experts including WADA itself, says that "there is no fault or negligence on Sinner's part for the double positivity to Clostebol". Between the notification of the suspension in April and the ruling in August Sinner was able to play because he filed an urgent appeal bringing evidence of his innocence, an appeal that was accepted given the evidence in his favor, all those who complain of preferential treatment either did not file an appeal in time or did not have sufficient evidence to have it accepted. The mistake, in any case not his, still cost him 400 ATP points and more than 300 thousand dollars, the prizes of Indian Wells. This does not mean that he was at fault, but it is provided for by the rules when there is a positive even if it is not your fault and is independent of any disqualifications. The facts that demonstrate his innocence: - A billionth of Clostebol is equivalent to the tip of a teaspoon in an Olympic swimming pool, ridiculous to think that it is doping and not contamination. - All tests before and after Indian Wells are negative, Sinner has done more than 20 in the last year, in addition to the biological passport that proves nothing strange. - Clostebol was used by East German weight lifters in the 80s, since then many other better substances have been used for doping - There have been several cases identical to Sinner's due to Trofodermin, those in which there was neither fault nor negligence had the same outcome as Sinner (for example the one mentioned by many Bortolotti), the difference is that not being famous and not having enemies they did not create a stir. I know that like flat-earthers many will continue undaunted, fortunately they do not count for anything and will remain confined to some social media, I should say that I feel sorry for them but I would be lying.

Great pity that this entire situation arose. Whittaker called Kyrgios 'inflammatory' when he was saying exactly what many others were saying: nothing against Sinner personally - he's a great player and very important to the sport. It is the inequality that matters and the variation in treatment of different players. Many have had their reputations irreparably damaged and their careers destroyed while being innocent. Sinner failed two tests, for whatever reason, no better or worse than them, but is allowed to keep playing, unlike them. rules must apply to all. Any on or off court interview between the two would be unfortunate because they had a wonderful interview at the AO and this would be a tabloid shock horror movie. Kyrgios is an honest and much loved interviewer; Sinner has a huge media team but his English is still not polished and the whole thing would be a disaster for tennis. The story of Sinner's doping results should never have come to light - who leaked it?
