Ain't nobody could do what Jordan does . His focus , fundamentals, athleticism, and I.Q. overmatch anyone who has ever played the game and probably will EVER play this game. And man, Chuck, when he was leading the break and getting his teammates involved he was really a special player

The Bulls were the oldest team in the league at that time. Hakeem was drafted the same year as Jordan. People trying to act like they would have beat the Bulls, when they almost lost to the Knicks in the finals by ONE shot, LMAO! Plus, The Bulls were in the harder division. The Rockets were never as good as the Bulls..it's just that simple.

I wouldn't argue Houston could have beaten Chicago in a playoff series personally. But I have heard some people say that Chicago's weakest position was center, and that player would have been facing Hakeem (96-97 was his last all star year I believe).
@Wis_Dom

@@fortynights1513 People say a lot of BS. Real old school NBA fans know, there is a difference between analytics and reality. The Bulls are a swarming defense, best in the league. It's not one player versus one player for an hour. Just put a body on him. Bill Cartwright was nowhere NEAR as good a Patrick Ewing, and he didn't need to be. Hakeem is not beating the Bulls by himself. Let him score his points, stop the rest, game won. They beat Hakeem in the regular season plenty of times. What makes the Bulls great is that their pieces are interchangeable. Jordan, Pippen, Harper etc, would all be coming to help block shots and swipe balls from the weak side.

Basketball is a game of matchups. The Rockets did not matchup well against the Super Sonics, the same way the Bulls did not matchup against the Rockets well. Any defender the Bulls had for Hakeem would’ve been eaten alive, in foul trouble and out of the game quickly, especially in the playoffs. If the Bulls meet the Rockets in the finals, the Bulls would have won 3.

Why was Barkley's points down from 23 to 15 and Jordans points down under 30 points?? Simple weight gain and didn't left weights as much for upper and lower body! I don't know how it goes something like for every 2 or 3 pounds you put on you can take away a whole point averaged

That's why it didn't work with Pippin Barkley and oyhkam olygwian cuz the weight gain! Pippin went after Barkley but olygwan had put on as much or maybe more than Barkley but Pippin ain't gonna say nothing to oykaeem!! When Jordan came back to wizards it was like he stopped lifting weights with his legs altogether and had the weight gain! Weight gain and loss of strength on strength maxes hurt you in all sports but it hurts you most in basketball
