The MD90 is the handsomest of the midsized narrow bodies. Beats the 737-800 and esp the A320 by a mile.

@scaremenga No doubt. I love these jets but McD cheaped out and just kept stretching and shrinking a 30 yr old design..I know they were broke anyways but if they could've shifted some military focus/finance into commercial transport and taken some calculated risks they might still be around.

The Aviation industry needs to put BOTH The BOEING 737 and The MD 80. 81,82,83,88,90 etc TO REST already!!!! HOW many times can you keep SSSTTTRRREEETTTCCCHHHING out the fuselage of the SAME TIRED OLD aircraft from 30-40 years ago?? Spend the time and techology developing high tech 21ST CENTURY aircraft instead!

Sorry to disagree so strongly with you: It was an overstretched and highly overrated bloated gas guzzling piece of junk. Boeing should have HALTED all of the post production stretching and so called technology right as they acquired the MD (Douglas) corporation. The Boeing 717 is a classic example of a FORMER MD jet NOT CUTTING it!
