Beautiful extraordinary work. There are a lot of non-Japanese speaking admirers in the world. Some English subtitles would be much appreciated.

What is he using to cut out the figures? How does it work-- when he scratches the clay and then adds color with brush..and it only goes where scratched?.. If anyone knows please put in comments..Jeeze .. I wish I knew Japanese!

He uses tape to make the big figures and then applies wax to the whole surface of the pot. Now he removes the tape and applies the color, which will only stick on the unwaxed surface! Lastly, he proceeds to scratch the wax and add more finer designs to the pot.
