In my country (Iraq) 🇮🇶 we call this country the planet of Japan .. My grandmother used to work in a Japanese company in early 80s. They gave her a washing machine it kept working till 2010 without any problem and Since then I have respected this country and the quality of its industry. Also, my father always buys the products (made in Japan). Me personally own a Toyota camry 2003 ans still working like brand new.. I am not surprised in this wonderful development in your cities because you are a creative and hard work people.. Greetings from Iraq ❤️

@t.walteranthonio8805
2 жыл бұрын
@@jei3419 yeah. I mean during that time every advanced countries like UK and France were amassing unfathomable amount of wealth by colonising other countries. They frequently went to war with other colonial countries for more territory and I think that Japan, who were desperately trying to prove themselves in the global stage as a rising power, must have felt the need to hop on to the train of colonisation as well. So their reason for starting the war and colonisation of other countries are understandable, but nonetheless it was wrong and dishonourable. I was a history teacher + english teacher in a small town in Japan. How indifferent Japanese are to the massacres and war crimes they committed always shocked me. So instead of trying to understand and sympathise with their ancestors who started the war, I think the Japanese should really look back to their past and reflect on their mistakes, and what they have costed. That was the main point of my first comment.
