I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Akita. I've been there a couple of times, but never really ventured out of the city and usually there for just a few hours. Kiritampo is so delicious I crave it right now. By the way, congrats on winning a spot at KZitem Nextup! You totally deserve it!
I came back just today from 16 days Japan trip, I've travelled to 9 prefectures (11 cities). Best experience of my life! Favourite dish was Kobe beef in Kobe and my favourite city was sapporo and osaka... the shinkansen ride from tokyo - sapporo (10hrs) it was amazing. The view was exactly what you showed on your video the first 25 seconds. Also, snowfall came early in Sapporo and we were lucky we got to see snowfall.

Amazing!I really like your video. There are not many Japanese traveling videos on youtube in English. like your style and your accent is great! Hope you can introduce more beautiful places in Japan.

And there came a man running from the farthest part of the town. Obey those who ask no wages of you وَمَا لِي لاَ أَعْبُدُ الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ "It would not be reasonable in me if I did not serve Him Who created me, and to Whom ye shall (all) be brought back. Shall I take (other) gods besides Him? Good video. I've been to Akita twice in winter, but never been to Odate. Kakunodate is worth a stop for the samurai history. I've been to Towadako for winter story festival. Gotta agree that Japan is more than just Tokyo, Osaka n Tokyo.
