We stayed there last year and the food was absolutely amazing. The environment was so relaxing, especially the garden with the Koi. I had the best and deepest sleep of my life there

I went to Koyasan many years ago. I hope you took a walk in the cemetary there at night. Surprisingly serene.

Koyasan might be a bit more traditional when it comes to food, in Minobu, they experience which is why the taste is mode modern!

Finding enlightenment may not be easy, but it seems like stairs are always part of the journey. The more stairs you climb, the more enlightened you will be. I am only being lighthearted. The plum beer looks delicious. I really enjoyed the the video specially that we can find Mexican flavors in some tradicional Japanese Buddhist dishes. 😄😉

Hi Shizuka fan of yours since Best Ever Food Review Show episodes, i have a suggestion please tell your editors keep the videos as it is they make this warm edit and making it look like colors faded. Japan has lush greenery and colors everywhere so we don't need to be extra cinematic with additional colors this video for particular, some touch up is good but not this warm look. thanks regards.

It looks so fascinating seeing it, I bet by being there you can feel the vibes of those places of enlightenment, but, on some parts of video, the music dosen't really fit so good with the scenario(but the dedicationis well appreciated, thankyou😊) besides that, always happy to see Shizuka and her adventures 😊😁 I bet those places look amazing in the middle of summer ☀️

Wait he carried his elderly mother up 200 something stairs. Then worked as a fisherman to buy stairs? Is this like Japan saying “why’d you nuke us?” While the USA goes “why’d you give us peace medals then attack us like cowards? At least we declared war before the boom booms.”. I love Japanese food. It’s my bucket list place to go, but my aging parents want to go to Scotland and England so that’s where we’re going. Ohhhh, ok maybe I now understand why he carried his elderly mother up stairs then bought stairs…. Actually no I still don’t get that.
