Here it is! Something we have been wanting to do for years finally happens, strap in as we take you on a comprehensive tour of the Shimanami Kaido. This is going to be quite the challenge as we are both by no means professional cyclists, probably going on our bikes back home a couple of times a year! We take a 50 mile adventure across 6 islands and 6 huge bridges (the last one being one of the longest suspension bridges in the world, wow!) and see some breathtaking views and pass through some sublime scenery. It doesn't all go to plan but there was always going to be some problems riding 50 miles on a bike in one day! Let us show you why it got it's name as Japan's most famous, AND most beautiful cycling route!
