This guy is a knife ninja , I tried doing this two times and it's way harder than he makes it look on video and he does it with a larger blade , yes I had really sharp knives , his skill level is number one 👍🏼. Thanks for posting this video , it will inspire me to try harder ! 😊

Thank You for sharing. You are a genius! All that time to make this beautiful work of art only to watch someone chew it up and swallow it, but it's good you made the video.

Thank you for sharing a beautiful technique that could disappear. I don't see waste as the rest of the radish can be used in other dishes. How do you keep garnish fresh and how long can they be kept?

It is a traditional Japanese radish with decorative flowers. Nowadays, the number of cooks who make it is decreasing, and it is a technique that is likely to disappear.

@@和食の技術チャンネル it is true art indeed. It's sad when traditional arts, crafts, and skills get replaced by modern times rushing busy lifestyles. I really want to try that! It's like gem cutting but in food. Thank you again, I hope your able to make many videos. 😋 Best wishes.

The translation is perfect on my end. The English readers can follow along just fine, nothing to worry about. Do you have a video on proper blade sharpening already? If not perhaps you could make one for the at home (not professional) person. Thank you. 😊
