Now that I'm becoming more intermediate, I've mastered most of the content on your channel. I'm really looking forward to seeing more advanced grammar lessons from you in the future. I love the fact that you jump right in with grammar/sentence structure - something most others (including the big apps and many textbooks) simply won't do to scare people off. Oh well, these lessons are super important to understand asap. Also, I like the way you color code everything. That makes understanding the sentence much easier. Thank you, Misa

I agree. Some of this I already knew, but the extra information on things like Konnichi-wa(ha) and formal v. informal are really helping me with things I've found confusing. Had also just learned pasoko and been like. How did I go from komputa to nooto-pasoko. Was so lost! 😂 Domo arigatou misa-sensei! Hontou-ni. (Not sure if that's right, but still. The sentiment is there..... I think I wrote in informal though.... 😅? )

Very cool; italian makes the distinction between "codesto" (similar to それ) and "quello" (あれ) too, although "codesto" is not commonly used. The extra uses それ gets are mapped on "quello" though. Recap: "codesto" : that (close to listener) : それ "quello" : that (away from both the listener and the speaker) : あれ By the way, "this" is translated into "questo"; and all of this is not accounting conjugations for gender and number.

Great video :) thanks for that. The added information about not using specific pill/tablet/painkiller and just "medicine" was a nice touch. Maybe it's a bit easier to remember, when thinking of these/those -> these = kore/sore, those = are I don't get why there needs to be 2 words for the same (dore / docchi) just because it's more possibilities :D But guess it's like the seemingly endless counters :D In the title it says "do chi ra" instead of "docchi" - is dochira the "business" version of "dore" or "docchi"?
