What a shame that there isn't more street food in Japan. It looks like it would be a hit pretty much anywhere, especially in the bigger cities. I've seen a lot of oden shops, but never one packed as full of such a variety of different things! Of all the stalls, the yakitori would be my weakness, Thomas put my thoughts into words: meat on a stick, simple but doesn't get any better. But I have to say, the clam croquet looked and sounded so deliciously comforting.
@ChasingaPlate
Жыл бұрын
Thomas said the clam croquette was sensational! I steered clear because of it being shellfish but I was very envious! The oden shop was raging! And there was so much choice. It really was a great shopping street- imagine living close to all that deliciousness! Heaven! Thanks for watching MsKestrela 😍 Cheers, Sheena

first time watching, video quality is great, audio is great Only thing is... can you pleaase describe the taste of the food a bit better? I get that the food is great/delicious (so many "hmm's" in this video lol) and i can visually see that its hot/crispy/buttery etc. but i just expected a better array of descriptive words from a channel that seems to be focused on trying out various foods. As someone with little knowledge of Japanese street food, let me know if its spicy or sweet, bitter or savory. Describe what the food reminds you of, describe how you saw the vendors making the food or how you would recreate it, give me a scenario like "imagine if you mixed x with y - this is what that tastes like". Just something other than "this is delicious" because it's Japanese food- of course it's great just an honest review from a passerby, thanks for the vid
