Japanese Sukiyaki Udon / Sukiyaki Nabe Udon

[ 1 Serving ]
[ Ingredients ]
Onion - 1/8 piece
Spring onion - 1 stalk
Golden needle mushroom ( Enoki ) - 1/2 bag
Shirataki noodle - 80gm
Firm tofu - 150gm
Sliced beef - 120gm
Chrysanthemum Coronarium ( Shungiku ) - 1~2 springs
Sanuki frozen Udon - 1 bag
[ Sukiyaki Sauce ]
Water or Dashi - 300cc
Sake - 3 tablespoons
Mirin - 2 tablespoons
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
Salt - some
Bonito flakes ( Katsuo bushi ) - some
[ Seasonings ]
Shichimi powder - some
[ Preparation ]
1. Finely sliced the onion, diagonally cut the spring onion & discard the stem from the golden needle mushroom.
2. After blanched the Shirataki noodles, rinse in water & cut into bite size pieces.
3. Pan fry the firm tofu (without oil) or use cooking torch gun.
4. Sliced beef cut into bite size pieces, tear off the Chrysanthemum Coronarium leaf.
5. Combine all the [ Sukiyaki Sauce ] ingredients & mix well.
6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat, place onion & spring onions stir fry until soft.
7. Add Shirataki noodles, stir fry until steam off the excess water.
8. Pour the [ Sukiyaki Sauce ] in a pan.
9. Place golden needle mushrooms, broiled tofu & sliced beef.
10. Add Chrysanthemum Coronarium & Udon noodles.
11. Last, adjust the taste if is necessary & is done !
[ Tips ]
* this dish it's not a Shabu-Shabu, the sliced beef have to cook for a while !
* can use any kind of noodle you want, remember have to be fully cooked then only can add in !
* sprinkle with Shichimi powder while serving, it will be tastes better ~ ! ^^
