A 150-meter Japanese tunnel walkway has been opened to the public at the Baguio Botanical Garden. The tunnel is a very narrow arch shape with just barely space for two people to stand side-by-side. It’s tall enough overhead that you don’t have to bend over, but not much taller.
For people who like to get away from it all and enjoy Baguio City, this is the newest and most interesting tourist opportunity around. Residents and tourists alike are coming out to see the newly opened tunnel. Not only is it unique and a part of our history, it’s also completely free to the public.
It is open between 8am and 5pm and night walks are not yet allowed. Entrance Fee is P100 for Adults, and a 20 pesos discount for senior and Differently-abled Persons.
