Valentine's Day can also be a good source of money.~~ Back in my highschool days, me and my friend earns a lot of money during Valentine's Day, since most of our schoolmates and class mates hires us to play instruments and serenade when someone is confessing their love to someone. Also it's kinda late but happy Valentine's Day to you Senpai~~ and as much as I want to give a chocolate, I can't because social distancing.

Great job, Sakura! Cute work, especially with the editing and skits. I agreed - obligation chocolates sounds like such a huge hassle! Whilst giving chocolates can be cute, to need to spend so much money for no real reason is very silly. I think Japanese people are better than this. Anyway, go to Don Quijote (Donki) and buy some Arnott's Tim Tam biscuits instead - they are so much better!

That's interesting. I had no idea about "obligation chocolate;" I can see how that could get expensive--if you're buying chocolate for every man in your life, that would deplete your bank account quickly. In America, for the most part, Valentine's Day is more for couples--specifically a man buys his wife, fiance, or girlfriend candy and takes her out. Personally, if I had a special lady in my life, I wouldn't wait until February 14th to show her how much I care, but I can understand that some women want to be taken out on that day. In the Midwest US, we have Sweetest Day, which is the day some say is for women to buy men things and take them out. Gifts and such are nice, but a "party for two" with my special lady would be the main thing I would want.
