Hey Phil, I just wanted to know that my daughter and I drove an hour to go and see your movie and it was worth the drive. I only wish that all theaters were showing the blind. We were so encouraged by the message of Christs redemption and I cried like three times 😂 Wonderful movie and this Christian is very thankful that you went through some embarrassing moments so that thousands of people can get saved. ❤ Praise God 🙌

Guys you know that Phil, Jase, Al, and Zach do not read the hundreds of comments. We do appreciate the effort they put into all the things. I also am amazed how The Almighty will raise up a man to carry on His Word. I wondered what would happen after Billy Graham passed on to glory. And here we are and I am listening to Phil speak scripture after scripture watching and listening to these guys baptizing and discipling thousands. Always pointing us to Jesus Christ... I thank you boys even though you won't read this. 😂

Amen, brother. Billy Graham was amazing, too. I never truly appreciated him until I became a Christian again (thanks to Unashamed and Dr. Charles Stanley). I lost my fancy, “upper crust” job because I began listening to Unashamed and Billy Graham quietly while in my office, but in hindsight, that was God working to remind me of how far I had fallen from Him. I went from well off to having “nothing,” but I’d lose the worldly things all over again if it meant I could continue walking with Jesus. Even during the worst times of our lives, our glorious King is working for our good.

The forgiveness of Jesus is absolute and perfect. That is why Christian's like the Robertson's teach that Christian baptism is an act of obedience that washes away your sinful past. All of it. That obedience also teaches repentance. You want to turn away from the sinful past and begin to make better decisions as a Christian. Perfect ? Of course not. We are humans and we sin daily, but our Christian growth helps us to make better decisions. The great part is that blood of Jesus, on the cross, and your acknowledgement of him in your baptism washes away that sin 24 hours a day 365 days a year. God and Jesus cannot lie or sin because they are perfect and their forgiveness is a rock solid promise. Christ forgave the criminal next to him on the cross as both of them were dying. During his life on the earth many years ago he crossed paths with many terrible sinners and he continuously showed them ' The Way' and how to gain heaven. I hope you will find the courage to take the steps to become a forgiven Christian. It gives us eternal hope. The world can't do that.

Would you limit the One who created love and forgiveness in His depth of love and ability to forgive? Did you know the apostle Paul (formerly Saul) turned in Christians and had them murdered before Jesus met him on the Damascus Road? He became the greatest soldier in the army of the Lord. He wrote most of the New Testament and traveled THOUSANDS of miles spreading the Gospel. He was forgiven King David coveted another man's wife so he sent him out on the front lines of the army to be killed so he could have his wife. Adultery and murder and he was forgiven Young, scared and stupid, I let a man push me into aborting my child. Murder. 😢But I have been forgiven. The only sin that will not be forgiven is knowing and fully understanding the Gospel and rejecting it. That's it. None of us are worthy of the gift, but Jesus said He will give it to us anyway. That's grace. Repent, ask for forgiveness and trust Him. He'll never fail you. ❤

As a fellow Baptist who thinks you should be baptized as public proclamation of surrendering to Jesus. im a little confused on the having to...the theif on the cross went to heaven and he wasn't baptized. Is that just a special scenario? I was assumed and taught you had to be saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. I would like to clear that theif on the cross. Jesus ain't a lier when he tells him he'll enter the kingdom before the end of the day. Also jesus was baptized and his followers baptized themselves but jesus didn't baptize anyone that i know of. I didn't hear any of those point so far. I just started listening a couple weeks ago like 20 videos in during my studys.

That is a easy one brother. Christianity did not start until Christ died and ascended to Heaven. He forgave a lot of people during his time on earth. He could because he was and is the son of God. His plan of salvation for us, as Christians, didn't begin until his death on the cross. Many examples of people asking 'What must I do to be saved?' Every answer in 'Acts' always included water baptism to wash away your sins. At that point you also received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
@dfischer5878
11 ай бұрын
The thief on the cross was an example of Gods sovereignty in salvation. Not many will have a “ death bed” conversion. Baptism is a public proclamation that you belong to a Christ. It’s an act of obedience not an act that saves you.
@mikefox1257
11 ай бұрын
either way I believe in being baptized but ive been taught you can get the holy spirit and go to heaven if ur saved and by some technicality you die before being baptized your still going to heaven like the theif on the cross so ima have to check out some stuff to undo that tuning. If I can find something that contradicts that and shows it's just a special circumstance of God's sovereignty I need to go through acts since he mentioned it and ima check there. When we've went through it with our preacher that's how he taught it to us and said your baptized in the Holy Spirit when you truly repent and are saved then when baptizm is just water but we if ur saved you'll want to publicly proclaim that your saved so we do it is how I've come to understand it just just wanting point in the direction of where it talks about ppl will go to he'll without a water baptism whether they are saved or not or maybe we are saying the same and everytime that technicality happens it's that special circumstance or some thing and I'm not realizing it and getting to technical about it and over thinking it. Idk just curious even if it's something semantic or serious either way I believe in baptisms so I'm def gonna check it out I'm not type to ask n not look I'm legit trying to learn from dif places and not trying to be confrontational either
