I can relate to it so much. Around one year ago I with my family went over to my cousin's house. Me, my sister, my cousin, his two sisters everyone of us were sleeping in the same room and he was sleeping right next to me. At night I felt like someone was touching me, firstly I didn't pay any attention because I never thought he could do something like this but then I felt his hands roaming all around my body and I knew something was wrong and I was terrified I was literally frozen thinking what could happen to me and I didn't even have the courage to push him away and slap him at the end I ended up going over to the other side to sleep but I couldn't sleep that night at all and I still haven't shared this with anything because I am scared what will they think and what if my family doesn't understand me, luckily after that day I came back to my house and after that I haven't seen him at all but I don't know how to face him in the future if I ever have any interaction with him I don't know what to do😔😟

You are a guy right? Not a woman, right? If guy, don't take this incident as a base point of your future relationships. Because whatever happened that night was very wrong and violating. You should have woken up and stopped him or else you're going to think about it and going to regret it whenever that memory stops you from going for something you really like. You should never confuse it with affection. It was pure evil and it was done to break you and abuse you. Forgive him, but don't forget what he did. You have every right and reason to confront him. If you a growing teenager or going to be youth, then focus on building your mental and physical strength. And then do confront him one day when you are ready, he definitely will deny what you said or call you names. But be strong, tell him he was wrong and no matter if he is sorry or not, you didn't approve it then or now. You have to give your piece of mind no matter how long it takes.

even sister same had happened with me, if i told my father he could have a didpute there and he could have beaten the hell out of him ,but i didn't and then next morning i told my mum, she said please don't say anything to anyone, we will not visit them ever, and since then i have never faced him, sometimes i feel that what the heck it is possible, i always called him as brother but he actullllllyyyy aaa .....
@devikasood8666
2 жыл бұрын
what you must do according to me: 1. you should tell your parents about this. take more time if you want to, but tell them in near future, before this incident becomes a thing of past. 2. confront the guy if you think that will give you some peace or put you in a better mental space. like i said, take your parents' support, don't do it alone. also know that you have every right and reason to. moreover, such people deserve to be shamed publicly, don't help him by staying mum, you're basically just helping him. 3. if you find yourself in a similar situation in the future, which i sincerely hope you do not, do not hesitate to raise your voice. i know this is easier said then done, your mind and body just freezes when anything of this sort happens, but remind yourself that you have to stand up for yourself. no one will if you don't. and a lot of people will help you if you do. 4. take mental and emotional help if necessary. talking to an elder (if you're a minor) or talking to your friends can help. but don't hesitate to seek professional help and don't think that what has happened with you is normal/common. it unfortunately is common, but the bad kind of common. do not normalise this in your head. do not think you are/will be overreacting by taking strong actions. Sending you all encouragement and support, i hope you come out of this shining bright.

Remember girl when whenever something bad happens to u don't be afraid ok. I know it's easy was not easy for me when a 17 years old guy who was drunk came forward and touched my face like literally rubbed his hand all over my face. I was frozen but I don't know where that voice broke outside and I shouted at him forced him to live the bus. It's never too late and I am glad u shared your pain cuz the more you share and shout out for yourself. More better for u

There was my father's friend, who used to visit us often, and I also went to his house once or twice. And whenever he came he would ask for me and make me sit near him, which was maybe lovingly or not, I was very young, but he was quite touchy. I was a chubby kid and he would show me I should learn boxing by punching me softly, touching my hand, maybe he did it with love, he also have a daughter, so I didn't think much of it. But still I did feel uncomfortable, so I told my father that he should not come to our house again or else I am gonna take a broom and throw him out, and I have never seen him again, nor my father mentions him. I am so happy I have my parents.

The trauma that child goes through even after she is grown or maybe even after she dies that only she knows.. It haunts her and that is why she gets irritated, depressed and anxious even when people insult, mock or laugh at her also and that is only and only her parent’s fault that they didn’t stand by her or support her the way she wanted them to.
@anikasharma9933

You know what we can't say that parents didn't take stand especially when parents didn't taught their daughters about good and bad touch and especially how to identify if you had a situation like this because it's not always forced sometimes they also take advantage that girls are totally unware of these things and especially when they have health issue whether study is important but they're not in a condition and have no idea ko identify about good and bad touch many parents don't take stand for their girls but most of them never taught their girls about molestation or about touch and that's most alarming thing

@@Priyanka0888 ya hope it changes soon but for that education regarding these things is very important so children don't face any kind of hesitation and aren't scared to admit and take a stand because elder woman or girls above 18 can understand these things and are capable to take stand but below 18 girls have no idea about these things and molestation is not only forced sometimes they'll behave like you're well wishers and they use girls it's also a harsh reality that 95% percent kids and teenager are in relationship also even though they don't know meaning of relationship it's very shameful but at lot of places you can see that less than 18 years sometimes 12-16 years girls are pregnant as well because of relationship too I'm not counting rape in it but that's also a harsh reality of our society because again there is lack of sex education and girls are not taught about good and bad touch very few parents teach these things but unfortunately in nowadays everyone needs to know these things

I faced molestation in std 7th when my dad passed away,my mom worked abroad for work keeping me in her sisters house. My uncle started to molest me. Whenever I was alone he is to get these dirty cd's and show me on TV..which I never understood what was it and tell me I have to do the same . Later when I finished my 10th I understood what it was something uncomfortable and when I was in 11th i ran away from their house. I was molested for 5 yrs, gradually I understood something is happening wrong. Now I'm married but before my wedding I happened to tell my mom abt this situation she just said don't tell this to my husband to be,but I told him he was shaken ,and supported me but not a guilt happened to my mom that was surprising. Now my uncle is dead he died at an early age of 46 This incident still haunts and its erasable.

More n more awareness is required. It's good that children r taught abt good touch n bad touch. Children are made to blame themselves fr the atrocities they r going thru. To top it instead of supporting counselling them, elders try to put everything under carpet, resulting in more encouragement to the molesters.
