Same! Especially towards the end as I was intently listening to his thoughts on spiritually. I seriously didn't see or think about George at all. I'll always love George Castansa but it was nice to really see Jason as himself. I loved Pete's joke "Would you like another take " 😂

Pete!!! Just wanted to say again that I love that you've brought video to the table. I'll still mostly be listening to it as an audio only podcast, because that's just how my life is scheduled. But there are times when listening, that I would love to see the look on your or your guest's face, and this gives me that access. Thanks bud! Cheers

I start out watching, then switch to ipod as I go on my way...that way I can picture the scene. Only Pete would think to acquire a giant couch like this for interviews. I love knowing that even if he has a guest who I have heard tell the same story a few times, the story will be different when they are in Pete's wacky world. Thanks for all the great work and for keeping the pod free!

I've been sorta binging this podcast because I just discovered it and of the 30 or 40 that I've watched so far, this was probably the best one. Jason's personality is so complimentary to Pete's that the questions he asks everybody seem like they were written just to ask Jason eventually because his answers and stories were the best possible responses to them. I was thoroughly engaged with this from beginning to end. Really great stuff.

Wow. I'm a huge Seinfeld (the show especially) fan. I rewatch the entire run at least once a year. I have to say this was a much better discussion than I expected. That's not a diss on either person involved. The contrary in fact. Very entertaining, enlightening, and emotionally invested discussion. Thanks to you both.

There's the classic question: "If you could have dinner with any [insert number of people] person/people alive or dead, who would you choose?" I wouldn't care who is at that table so long as Pete is there - he would top my list every time. He has a way of taking charge of a conversation in a way that makes his guests comfortably vulnerable. I have enjoyed every episode of this podcast for as long as I have been listening to it and only wish that I could have at least one conversation in my life that is as profound and vulnerable as every one of these podcasts. Thank you, Pete for providing us all with these gifts.

Pete is so shocked at the idea of Jerry Seinfeld smoking a cigar, I think he would literally die if he found out about Jerry dating a 17-year-old high schooler
@petiewheat82
Жыл бұрын
When someone like Jerry dates a 17 year old, it isn't about abusing the young person, its about having the experience he never had back when he was young...a longing for love and acceptance that had to be forestalled for decades. I don't judge him for this, especially considering the standards of the time and looking back through history, with all the royalty and their "child wives" through the ages. I'm sure he was hoping to fall in love and everything that happened was consensual. Nowadays, we have all agreed that because of the power dynamic, even 19 year olds must be treated as children who aren't capable of knowing their own minds...and with the hypnosis of the screen-time information age, I guess that might be an accurate way to judge young adults of the modern era.
