Can't imagine what Jason had to overcome to finish it off on the podium. Great ambassador and inspiration for anyone dealing with adversity. Congratulations to Jason and his achievements.

You were great! You had an amazing wrestling career. I'm sorry for the loss of your sis. You and your family made the region proud. Really top of the chain and outstanding character.

Seems like a good guy, hope he does well. Just asking, why do wrestlers, today, still end up with damaged ears? When I wrestled, in high school, we wore head gear--is that a thing of the past?

It is optional for freestyle (at least it was back then, not sure about now) and most wrestlers didn't weird it to freestyle meets.

what is this guys story? I thought he just got a weak weight class his freshman year and was lucky to have been a NCAA Championship...
