Wonderful discussion on a great episode. I am looking forward to where things go in the next two episodes.

If only the pacing, episode length, and writing were up to par. This show has some good plot points, but it fails in delivery. It’s also not Ahch-To that was confirmed in an interview.

This could’ve actually been a really interesting story if it was handled correctly

As someone who hasn’t enjoyed this show i can appreciate that there are still fans excited for star wars content! But we as fans deserve better than this, leaving things vague isnt actually setting up any mystery or intrigue it just causes more questions that wont be answered. That in combination with disney’s ridiculous process of creating these shows just leaves us with a 90 minute movie thats now a 4hr show with more plot holes than answers. As a standalone show it makes zero sense and theres only an hr left of screentime

Thank you for your comment! I'm gonna withhold judgment on the mystery of The Acolyte until after the season is done but I can say I really didn't like the way Ahsoka left things vague. We were left with a lot of unanswered things and didn't know if the show would get a second season. Now of course we do know they're making a season 2 but that's knowledge that would've eased my disappointment after seeing the season 1 finale. Please come back and share your thoughts if you stick around till the end of The Acolyte's season!

How do you KNOW the mysteries won't be answered? So far, the show has provided answers to three of its central questions in prompt order.

@@hoos3014 im curious what you think the “central questions” are maybe im not understanding ??? Aside from being from qimir’s reveal what have we been shown so far and even that isnt relevant to overarching story . We have seen 6/8 episodes aren’t any more informed than we were after ep. 1, with only 2 episodes left idk how they are gonna explain why any of this mattered in universe, i understand there’s still time to wrap up the story in a way that lines up with the prequals

@@danielwilson3225 I'm referring to the basic questions they set up, and answered, in the first 5 episodes: Who is killing Jedi? Answered Osha and Mae are living twins. Answered Who is the masked stranger? Answered Here are the general remaining questions: What happened on Brendock? How will the revelation of that truth impact all characters? Will Osha and/or Mae change orientation? Who is and/or was Qimir's master? What is Sol up to? What is Venestra hiding?

@@hoos3014 my point is the “basic questions” are irrelevant to the plot if there even is one…. Who killed the jedi was never in question by the end of ep1 we knew there were twins Mae and osha being twins hasnt been elaborated on in 6 episodes in doesnt really affect the plot at this point aside from them switching places Why does it matter who the stranger is if there has been no set up for that character ( no explanation on how mae and he got together or why he would assist her in killing jedi) We have seen 6/8 episodes and like i said we dont really know anything we didnt know after episodes 1&2, why do we care about any of the additional questions you stated when they haven’t told a story at all….. why did we see any of episodes 2/4/5/6 when they are completely disjointed in comparison to the brendock story we got in the ep1&3
