I keep seeing people comparing him to Jeff Buckley and Chris Cornell. Please just stop. Those guys were good with what they did, but this guy is in an iconic category with the likes of Johnny Cash. His voice is not like Cash, but his status is. Jay brings something from a place that only a few singers in history could. This m an renders a song the way Van Gogh could paint a starry night, with a tenderness that burst opens from his soul. Thank you Jay Buchanan for sharing your gift with all of us.

My story is crazy but music like this makes me feel less insane about what I'm going through. I work a couple stores away from a music store. Since January, I've just been crushing crazy over a guy who works there. I've tried talking to him a few times but with no success because before I can do much I walk away in fear and anxiety. He walks by my store a couple times a day and always looks in. Sometimes I wonder if he maybe wonders about me too. In the few times I've spoken to him, it's made all the difference that I just can't stop thinking of him. I fall apart every time I see him. It's like there's something I just can't shake. Every lyric in this song and even the melody and how Jay sings it is everything my heart is going through. I can't sleep. I can't eat. I can't function at times. I just don't know what to do

Unbelievable talent. Although hope the band doesn't brake up because he decides to go solo. We need really great new rock bands in the world not more singer song writers. Example black keys. Cool band but now Auerbach went solo and did a record that sounds like a early 70s Paul Simon record . It's ok, but........
