You have inspired me with this Calender Folk Art Blanket. My daughters high school friend is expecting her first baby Dec 6th. She wasnt sure of nursery color but did say the nursery will be done in fairies. Im going to use your base blanket in blues, greens, browns, tans and plug in appliques, mushrooms, little flower blossoms, cottages on the forest floor. Wish me luck everyone Thank you very much

This has been such a fun project. I'm not quite done yet but I've made some houses and a church, just have to embellish and decide where they go and if I need more, and where to put evergreens. I'll hold off on putting trees near the barn in case something else is going there. 🐴🦌🐑🐔🚜🌽🥕

I'm not sure I'll ever do this, maybe when I'm older and less employeed when my kids are not kids and such. but I LOVE it and I love that it is customizable I live in TX so I would need a bit of dessert color and a HUGE hot sun with big rays and I would need some crape myrtle trees. But I think I could actually make this look like my home if I wanted!

Still working on the light green and heading for the sky. I'm getting there. Then on to the barn and houses. Debating whether to start sewing the sun and trees as soon as I finish the blanket or get caught up with the appliques first. So much to do.

Is there a difference (and what is it ) between left and right handed crocheting
@JaydaInStitches
5 жыл бұрын
Hi Rebecka, patterns are generally written as right handed (as that tends to have been the majority of handiness out there) and in most cases, left-handed crocheters are simply working in the opposite direction :)
