Brien, i know you live in TX. Pittsburgh here, born and raised. 60 years old, lifelong fan. There is a pet peave that we locals have that you may not be aware of so a friendly headsup. We never refer to anything about the Steelers with the word Pitt. That word is only the college team the Pitt Panthers. Some are more bothered by it than others but.... there you go. Great podcast though.

Steelers have always been built to win within the division but couldn't figure out what the odd division games and how to match up player to player or defense against what they was clearly weak at... Now we have NFC OC that knows the fast pace and how to defend it.... We have a QB that seen it all like BIG Ben and elite QB2, younger lumar-ish QB plays .... My opinion, Mason should've started over Mitch before Kenny had to start that year... We all hoped Kenny would or could get better but bailed out cause he wanted to start and prove his worth, preseason was nice but he couldn't figured it out the defense and open receiver got missed out on.... Best of luck for him now.... Not so much a bust but clearly didn't sit long enough to learn the complexity of a NFL defense...

No way the Steelers can or will sign both. Najee solid but lacks the explosion to bust a play wide open like Warren has shown he can. And the Steelers can’t afford to overpay for somebody that just gets the yardage that the play card draws up.

1) They both had about 30 broken tackles last year and Najee had 100 more carries than Warren. 2) Warren outgained Najee per rush 5.3 to 4.1. 3) Najee’s longest rush was 25 yards. Warren’s was 74 In conclusion, people just say anything.

@@sackaveli1 ok Najee has 30 Warren had 27 broken tackles.. this guy said Warren breaks them and Najee doesn’t.. He had a higher average.. no go take all his third and long draw plays out and bring his new average.. btw Najee had the better average on outside zone runs like I mentioned in my comment .. Warren had better gap scheme numbers.. mainly because of third and long draws.. And one 74 yard run in comparison to 24 explosive runs .. yeah I’ll take the consistency .. Don’t come back
@sackaveli1

@@mycalbrooks8161 why would you take off runs to make an argument? Makes zero since. Broken tackles are broken tackles and Warren had more per attempt. Don't matter if it's a draw, dive, counter, or zone. Beyond that Warren is much better than Najee out of the backfield. Much smoother and gets up the field fast. Najee is an average RB in this league, skill-wise. I'm back.

@@sackaveli1 for every 3rd and 15 draw(which is a garbage run forfeiting the drive) there are 3 1st and 10 runs for Najee that the defense was waiting on and he’s being hit behind the Los and he gains 3.. don’t eliminate them but those bare numbers don’t tell the whole story.. it’s the reason Warren is still the back up .. by your logic skill wise every scout coach and team got it wrong on Warren even his current staff that still has him number 2 and even benched him in the last regular season game.. notice how much his touches dropped when Canada got fired and we started winning?

Dude, is showing clips with Warren breaking tackles saying Harris doesn't do this......what a damn fraud. Najee faces different boxes. Is he as fast? No . But Najee is ball control and picks up tough yards. Najee is disrespected by this fan base on the daily. The reason why the Ravens could not beat the Steelers as of late is Najee Harris.
@SteelersAlmighty

If we disrespectful Najee…what are the Steelers saying by not picking up his 5th year option after a series of 1000 yds seasons…. Point is we’ve seen Najee’s ceiling and it’s not high enough for him to be a top paid RB in this league. If we got him for cheap I’d love for him to stay. But we can get more for less and that’s always the goal.
@SteelersAlmighty

Biggest difference between Najee and Warren is Najee runs through tackles and drags players 3-4 yards. He doesn’t break free. Warren eliminates contact and shows the ability to do a second or third move after. Najee doesn’t do that. 🤷🏾♂️
