@@CoralCopperHead well, think about it. a novice would just slap an effect on something. Maybe you're misunderstanding what i mean by "automation". I just realised how crazy it is that in one part of the game there's a funky and exciting level where you frolic through a carrot garden, another where you traverse an Alice In Wonderland level, but eventually in the same game it turns into this brooding hell-scape level. Coolest level in the game AND coolest music theme along Medieval Jam. The nightmarish crimson background is a genius design choice. Goes to show that you don't need dumb jump scares to make a game scary, all you need is the right colours and designs with some good unnerving music on top. The monster trees in the Hell levels are way cool, I wonder if they're a reference to Dante's Inferno (the original work, not the game). Just a really cool level that screams 90s in the best way. Too bad it's so short and easy, especially for a third-to-last level.

@TBC2304

@@AnkokunoTsubasa Same sentiments. This track has just the right beat and melody to give that looming feeling that something terrible is up ahead. Too bad Jazz Be Damned is too jammed up to be a good continuation of it. Also the clean-cut skull gates on the background are nowhere near as disturbing as the veiny crimson wall of flesh, not to mention they don't even make sense as you can see the end on the other side of each gate. Overall the game was pretty easy mainly because of the characters' superior agility (which also made the game so much fun to play), once you master their speed pretty much nothing can touch you. Only exception is perhaps the Devil from the Xmas levels, and only if you fight him properly. The blaster is also far too OP for a basic weapon once you max it out.

@@Fotel I wouldn't even necessarily say the gameplay was bad but yeah it seemed like the most rushed and underdeveloped part of the project. Even worse is it could've been made super hard within the same constraints of its engine and would've just been unpleasant.
