A viewer asked about the JBL IRX108BR's DSP settings and I made a video to hear the difference. With the exception of "Speech", the others are very similar. The owner's manual states that "Flat" is for monitor use, "Music" is for use on a speaker stand (or FOH), "Vocal" provides a LPF at 100Hz, and "Speech" is for speaking. I don't hear a very drastic LPF - I'm wondering if the manual mis-spoke and "Speech" has the LPF at 100Hz. The bass boost does provide a nice little bump in the low frequencies. I believe these little speakers have exceptional low end for a 17lb speaker of their size. Nice power too!
