In this video I test a pair of JBL IRX108BT (battery powered via lithium ion battery pack) versus a pair of LD Systems Maui 5 Go's. The speakers are roughly 25'-0" apart and the video camera is roughly 44'-0" away from the speakers. Both sets of speakers sounded good in my opinion. The Maui 5 Go's obviously have a fuller sound due to the subs - nice thick sound in a lightweight package. I like the sound and clarity of the JBL IRX108's much better that the JBL Eon Compacts. I love the Bose S1 Pro's - but - the IRX108BT's are a really great sounding speaker and at 18 lbs - are just 3 pounds heavier than the Bose S1's.
There's alot to like about both sets of speakers. Excellent portability, louder and more low end than Bose S1 Pro's. What do you think?!?
