This is a GREAT video .. you're back in fine form again! I'd love to see another vid of answering commonly asked questions like you did late Spring of 2011. You just took about 6 or 8 questions that you saw rising in the comment section over and oever again and answered them one by one -- many people commented on how helpful it was. TRULY appreciate your send-outs JC! Looking forward to Chiang Rai part 3!!!

Another great video. Was not planning on taking a trip to Thailand this year. But, your videos are starting to wear me down. I just might have to take some time and head your way. Your assistant did a great job with the camera. I think your found a good employee while your in the Chang Rai area. I really like the breads/pastries in Tops. Thanks for all your hard work and I can't wait for part 3. Jon

Great video JC - some people think once we are over 50 we should stop living - it is not enough for them to wallow in their own egocentric world of haters - they have to generalise their prejudices to everyone else - Well - mais pen rais - keep on keeping on never mind the naysayers who hate to see others happy. Thanks for the relevant and useful videos

Thank you so much! Daughter and I will be in Bali this summer, and she will return to Spain, and I will head for Chiang Mai and the Malin Residents, all thanks to you. My friend is also subscribed to you Rebecca Smith, but she does not videos, due to how evil some trolls can become. I am happy, that you have your van, and you deserve it. I have a 1994 Chevy conversion van and she is a V8, with about 84K miles. How is the weather in late August ?

Hi Adam, regarding a thai language school, the one I came across was called ,''Easy Study Thai school'' which is operating in chiang mai and chiang rai. For 1 year the cost is 19,950 plus they sort out your education visa. The reviews seem ok and the cost is pretty cheap compared to other schools in Thailand. Best of luck.

Really good video JC, I am liking the options in Chiang Ria. I was wondering when you are checking out living accommodations could you find out if they allow large pets? Also do they have a Thai Language School since I would need a ED Visa over there. I appreciate any info you can find out if you have the time, Thank you for another great video, looking forward to the next video!

Hey J.C great video. I just spent a month in Chiang rai and I also was very impressed with this place as it has everything to offer and is very easy to get around. If your still there you should check out a farrang restaurant called WCH ( world class hamburgers) owned by a guy from the U.S Barry. He has been living in Thailand over 20 years and might be worth talking to. Also I found what they call the beach area a nice place to hang out and have a beer and some food.

Let's let the viewers chime in here. How many thought when they were in their twenties that they would have the same future that a friend here is dreaming about? And maybe it became a reality. But my channel is for people further down the road and with different hopes and dreams now. My videos really aren't meant for the younger demographics with such a bright future in their home country in front of them.

Hi JC I have been watching a lot of your interviews, and I had a thought, do you only interview your members? The reason I ask is. do you end up limiting your self with JUST members? I saw your interview on where I live here in Mckean, and its sort of missing a lot of what we have here, I have been here for 4 years, and I can't find a better place to live for the money. Jim,

I recommend staying out of vans and take one of the better buses or fly. The mini vans are the most dangerous passenger vehicles on the roads due to careless drivers.

Cook? Who cooks in Thailand? At $1 a meal it is cheaper, faster and less hassle to buy the food prepared than to buy more than you will eat, take time to prepare it and clean the pots and pans from cooking it. Most younger Thais now living in the cities do not even know how to cook.
