@Jesus45U Hello, yes I understand certain apexes are not to be messed with, especially the high speed ones. But in some cases (for example the 1st high speed chicane) I need to ride over bumps for a straightest line. Trust me I don't remember how many times I got wiped out coming out of 1st chicane until I can manage that devilish part of circuit correctly, and how many times I ruined the rims. Can you point out which part of the vid you think is a bit too extreme over the bumps?

Great ! The engine don't overheat with the thailand's climat ? Use a big water & oil cooler ?

hey man you do know cars do you :) Yes the engine overheat! My street version (not stock) radiator wasn't enough. Temp climb to 110 degree celcius just 2 laps, the boiling point of radiator fluid/water mix. So now I have changed the radiator to a racing unit. It appears as wide as the intercooler you see on modified supras. ha. (I took out the aircon compressor to make room) Oil cooler? I gotta pay attention to that. I currently am installing a display that should show me a few read outs.

you are right. It was a bolt on. After my first year I only use welded in cage with a lot of triangulation, also harness is fixed at center of cage.

@golferchin76 I wasn't thinking of any one particular turn, more in general terms. If it was me lapping that track, I'd probably consider all but the chikanes as no-touch turns, I find that I get more out of my tires that way. I reckon it's your home circuit then, since you've lapped it so much ? Sorry to hear you smashed your rims on it btw. That always suck.

Hi fabrb26, I went to practice session yesterday running slicks. My new sensors and digital dash shown water temp not more than 80 degrees celcius even under severe abuse. However my oil temp went to 125. I rechecked and my D15B does not have an oil cooler. It is time to get one.

what kind of work did you do with the engine? how much horse were you producing? i thought about it, would adding a sand bag produce balance to the car? on the passenger side or it doesnt matter?

Driver feels tired after 6.07 or tire finishing? 3.54 corner in too fast ? Worst bump at 7.08? Gear box error at 8.00?

@mikecvcc08 try the roll cage first. The car stiffens up, not to mention it is safer to track.

@dylanv100 well it was my own fault man. I pushed the car too hard it was a slightly downhill chicane and trail braking into it too hard made the rear too light. That was the first or second race of my first year racing I think.

@ch3ry84 6.07 I was not yet tired because this is a very short race. 3.54 a bit too aggressive on the throttle after apex so the car ran a bit wide. 7.08 was a normal bump, not too much 8.00 no it is my own error not gear box error. clutch pedal was release before 3rd gear was in, the gear kicked right out into neutral. This can happen a few times in a longer race.

I see you hit the inner boundary of the corners a lot, which is allright in slow corners, but try not to do that so much in high speed corners, it upsets your tires and your suspension more than what is good and there's a higher chance of wipeout. ie. the higher speed from the better traction you gain from not hitting them, offsets the longer distance traveled.

Yes I do track days! It's harder to do wheel to wheel racing here. I used to have an EG with a b16b swap it was one fun car. I have a s2000 now and I like the seat you have. 👍🏼

Track days are very good!! Especially with a high revving S2000. Recaro has a variety of racing seats to choose from. Also many other brands. Try to avoid knock offs because we never know if they can withstand the big impact g's. Have Fun!
