I agree. It seems hard to believe these horses have been mistreated. Mind you, in nature some of the early training for animals - by their parents - is 'tough love'.

Often horses will 'tip' their ears back to hear better what is happening behind them. Quite different than pinning them back in extreme anger. My mare will flick an ear back and forth when we are working on something new or particularly difficult, indicating that she is listening to/paying attention to me (at least that is my belief), and she certainly is not exhibiting anger or fear when doing this.

I find that extremely hard to believe. If all those horses were hit over the head with a whip, they would be very, very head shy, atleast some of them, but non of them are. A horse that is beaten to submission will submiss, but they wouldn't be relaxed. If you read those horses body language, you can tell they are very comfortable around him.

It is so wrong! I met him and follow one of his clinic and he is all about love and quiet. I wonder who will tell so horrible stories, probably someone jealous and angry. When you know horses, you can see all his horses are very relax and happy to be with him.

just wondering really maybe some of you might know :), in the video he is running next to a white horse, but the horse has it's ears more to the back, is it just because of the noise from the sea, or is it normal? When I do some groundwork with my horse she sometimes does the same( even when there's no real noise), I wonder if it's cause she's trying to protest (not like I force her or something)... :/

Hmmm.

I have heard he beats his horses on the face with a wip when they are young untill they submit to him. I have heard this from many different people that went to his courses. He tells them to wip on their faces till they are submited. if thats really true im really sorry for those horses. if you have doubt search for it on forums....
