@flyerscup08 I always thought i wanted a grand cherokee, but now i want a cherokee. They have a TON of awesome aftermarket parts, look awesome jacked up with big tires, are EXCELLENT offroad. They also have the wonderful Inline 6 4.0, one of the most reliable engines ever built, will most likely last longer than the v8. The cherokee is also better on gas mileage than the grand cherokee, and i think they're just more fun overall. I'm going to buy one, you should too. You will NOT regret it!

Just a little info and you probably already know. Get an Aussie Locker for the front of your rig if it's a daily driver. It helps a tremendous amount off-road. It's a great locker for the price. I drive my Jeep on the road 30+ miles a day and it never acts up unless I turn REAL sharp, like in a parking lot... It "clunks" then... But turning on to a road in an intersection you can hear it click. Driving in snow or on ice it takes some getting use to, but I'm sure you can handle it.

I'm running 4.56's (not low enough). At the time it was the lowest gearing that my dana 30 and 8.25 offered. Theres now 4.88's I'll wait until I switch the front axle to change gears. Its got a Detroit in the rear, an OX for the front would be awesome! Ya I'm not 100% sure if i'll go with 8 inches. I mainly hill climb, off-camber stuff not too many rocks. I want to keep 35's but i still need more clearance.

nice ride man, looks good, I had a 94 with a 4.5 rough country lift kit on it, I've been lookin for another jeep for over a year now, I rolled mine over a year ago. How do those tires do in different terrain, looks like they work well. But it is a real nice lookin rig.

Oh ya Mexico's terrain is nothing like the terrain here in Washington's Great Northwest it takes a different kinda rig!

thanks dude buy a jeep off-road book specially for a cherokee! it'll tell you everything. besides that upgrade both axle shafts and get gears and a moderate lift 3.5-5 inchs. if you're not goin all out u proly wont need the chromoly shafts so buy lockers or lock-rites instead. It''' a VERY smart buy
