Nice work. Not many SUV's can hang with the pony car.

the 5.7 can actually move pretty good till about 70-80 mph in the chargers/ challengers but in that heavy durango, it stands not even a slight bit of chance...5.7 was quick in its day during the 06 era, but really, dodge should of upgraded the r/t trim with the 6.1 at least...just imagine if the scatpacks today still used the old 6.1 in its chargers/challengers now..yep, would not stand much chance against new ss's, and gt's and what we see with the r/t's is an outdated engine being used against new competition...my r/t had no problem with 4.6 stangs, vics, and other ole v6 beaters from yesteryear but today, they're far behind performance wise...not surprised you held off the trackhawk either tbh..ford has an advantage with the 5.0 coyote since it's a dohc 32 valve engine while dodge still uses the old 16 valve ohv engine....dohc engines just produce better power overall..

What i never understood is why dodge doesn't use the truck version of the Hemi in it's SUVs. Why does a Durango get the 360hp version and a Ram gets the 395hp version ? And i mean why does a Charger get a 370hp version ? I absolutely never understood why the trucks get more power than the " performance oriented RT trim vehicles " GM doesnt even use the 5.3 in its vehicles and Ford's Truck coyote makes way less power than the Mustangs.

@@CarAccelerationChannel exactly, dodge is sorta a$$ backwards with alot of the moves they make...tbh with you, the 392's should at least be putting out 530 hp at the crank for 2023 to better compete with the newer mustangs and the 5.7 hemi should of been dropped for the chargers/challengers all together for the r/t trims a long time ago, and should of been replaced with the more powerful 6.1 hemi once the srt8's upgraded to the 6.4's, and the v6's were upgraded to the 3.6's back in 2011,,,....now, dodge is trying to go full ev, while at the same time, are still selling plain jane 2022 392's for 54k as a final screw a "hole' in mopar buyers before they totally just purge the brand all together with stellantis...dodge will literally charge its customer's an extra 5k for custom colors alone... lmao...dodge is such a trash company business and decision wise but they do produce good vehicles i guess..🤣

@@CarAccelerationChannelThe reason why they don't use the truck varient because of the EPA rules back in 2011 as the hemi durango supposed to have 395hp and 412tq but due to the emission laws they forced dodge to lower the hp and tq numbers so there won't be a huge gas guzzling tax and fees they have to pay which can be hundreds of millions.

As a person who owns a 2011 durango hemi it beats any N/A v6s, most turbo 4s, older ford v8s like you have said as some of them doesn't come close, it beats all diesel trucks except 1 which was tuned because they have a insane 60 to 80mph which the stock ones are slow those numbers, ofc it beats every single suv and truck that doesn't have over 400hp. In terms of a sleeper it still since it is a citadel with a v8. Yes it isn't the fastest suv anymore which doesn't make me sad at all since it supposed to be out done by it's competitors at some point, also with cars with more and more hp and tq it will be beaten sooner or later. Now I will say I have kept up with a 2013 challenger r/t
