Nice WJ Dude. I've an '01 Grand, 2.5 lift w/extended links, adjustable Core 4×4 arms all around. I'm not cutting anything here in Delaware. To much salt in the winter months. My daily driver with Cooper AT/3 s all around. Never let me down in snow, mud or rain. I've got great flex, no rub and my baby will run 80-90 miles an hour all day. Go anywhere.

That is nice. My top speed on the 35s is 65 lol. I'm still debating on going back to 33s, or different wheels for sure.

The Maxi Trac 300LPM twin pump from NAPA is best (think it's now sold as "NAPA 300LPM"). Its about $150, after modifying with standard air fittings, pressure switch and relief valve it will make a great onboard air system for about $200... There are LOTs of videos on KZitem about modding it. I made it into an onboard air system that is wired to my rear 2nd battery on my WJ... it's ridiculously fast and reliable.

The front lowers are RC and I don't recommend them because the joint it came with was bad and made a lot of noise new. I had to replace that joint with a rebuildable Johnny Joint.

Be mindful, when you go big tire, that Dana 30 up front won't take the torque abuse. Ditch the wide look .

Did you extend your rear adjustable arms? I have core 4x4 adjustable short arms and they aren't long anuff to get the wheels centered on the rear .and Iam at 6 inch lift with 35
@g_packventures
Жыл бұрын
I did extend them a bit, more for pinion angle than to center tire. I can send you the measurement later today. If you can see on the video, it is not centered because with the short arms the tire moves up and back when flex. So I don't have it exactly centered. 👍

@g_packventures dang. Have me rethinking the 5.5 lift springs. I have 35s ready to mount was going to order 5.5. Did you have to replace driveshafts front or rear or were they okay?

@MrWubDUbDub I seen people do 35s on 6 inch but they cut the fenders a lot. I didn't want to cut the fenders. Front Drive shaft is a MUST, the rear im still on stock drive shaft.

How dependable are the wj's
@g_packventures
Жыл бұрын
They are dependable after replacing the bugs they have. Example I replaced ignition coil, crank sensor, cam sensor, TPS sensor ,and water pump before they gave out because those are common problems. But still have them as spares just incase. Suspension are like all the Jeeps lol.

@davidsettle8456 I have the 4.0 and it's known to be a strong and one of the best jeep engines, not a lot of power but strong and reliable. I have over 200k on my and runs like a charm. The v8 model is a more powerful engine but more delicate. As far as my suspension I have 8 inch front and 9.5 lift on the back, check out the walthrough video I have a lot done but not difficult or super pricey mods. But if you have more questions send them, glad to answer. Thank you.
