Jeff was sooo proud of Tal. He loved her like a daughter. In this video, he even "dropped" his own guitar to make sure everyone took notice of her !!!!! He brought her onto the world's stage and made her famous....much love brother...RIP Jeff...😢😢😢

Yeah, it made me laugh. I think we've all had such a moment in our lives. Or at least I'd like to think so. A moment when, in doing what you love, you put it all together, it comes out in a perfect flow, you're in the zone and you know it so are justifiably "Huh, how's'bout THAT!?" proud of yourself. Yet also sneakily surprised you did it, too. I wonder what Tal would say, some decades on in time now, in review of this, eh?

Every time I see a video of Jeff and Tal, I swear she brings out the absolute best in his playing. He genuinely has great appreciation for her talent on bass and it’s like he doesn’t want to let her down. His performance is masterful. Thank you Jeff and Tal for leaving us this legacy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

She is totally amazing, as are the other musicians, as for Jeff, it is when you see a performance like this, just how much he will be missed. The other thing is that Jeff and Tal are constantly smiling in mutual admiration for each others talents. They weren't playing for money, they were just enjoying playing, a rare thing. RIP Jeff , we will never see your like again

@@richardlstern9840 I saw an extended interview with Tal in which she tells how devastated she was when she heard from Jeff's wife. Apparently she fell into a depression (not surprising really. Her nan, in Australia had also recently passed.) She speaks eloquently of her feelings of loss. She is amazingly articulate for one so young. It's at the very end that she speaks about her relationship with Jeff and Sandra (last 3 minutes or so.)

One of the greatest musical performances ever!! I've watched this over and over, but can't get enough of it. A lot of love and respect were evident. Tal's facial expressions said it all. We are so lucky to be able to witness this.

Just wow. The sheer genuine joy on Jeff's face watching Tal play Cause' was like a proud parent. Both of them smiling at each other sums. Tal's admiration of the best there was and Jeff's pride watching Tal, wow.

The jazz pianist is the Brit Jason Rebello. He's toured with Beck since '06. Also tours & records with Sting. He's collaborated with Wayne Shorter, Art Blakey, Gary Burton, Branford Marsalis, Chaka Khan, Des'ree, Bud Shank, Tommy Smith, Jean Toussaint, Mica Paris, Carleen Anderson, Joy Rose and Omar.

can anyone imagine what kind of world this would be if no-one would ever stop showing this deep respect for each other like they do after tals solo? ok, they're making music. but who cares in this moment? what i can see are just true human beings in the center of their light. and this is what makes music being excellent among all other business: bringing people as close as possible to their own heartbeat giving a glimpse of that divine we all have inside us but had to learn to forget by growing up to "well-regarded parts of the society". shortly: such moments are realizing a short view onto the paradise this planet could be to us. if we just want.

I keep coming back to this video. Tal's solo and Jeff's reaction, her saucy smirk at the end of her solo and that smile when Jeff revels in her talent. Some things can never be repeated and you just have to appreciate that it was captured. Pure and unique m agic.

Jeff Beck was a unique artist, and Tal is a phenomenon! What a pair they were together! What a wonderful display of mutual respect, talent, and love! This is one of the most uplifting performances I have ever seen. That audience was so fortunate to witness and hear this in person! There will never be another like Jeff Beck.

Underrated is the most overrated word in comments. Sold out concerts worldwide, Grammy awards, an amazing body of work, which spans over six decades. you don’t have to be Taylor Swift, or in a Subway commercial to be loved and recognized by the entire world. Both Beck and Gallagher have millions of fans.

Stratus was originally from a Billy Cobham LP, Tommy Bolin on guitar. Bolin played numerous styles of music; jazz, metal, blues, fusion.... played with groups like Deep Purple and the James Gang, and two solo LPs.... for someone who died at age 25, he has quite a library of recordings.

Vinnie brought Tal to Jeff. And Jason Robello's contribution should not be underestimated. Rita Payes and her mother, Elizabeth carry the torch on of true musicianship and humility. Oh, Tal, you inspired him! At 21, you had as much Western musical chops as he did! You lifted that piece of music beyond anything that Stevie ever gave it, but you left it understood for any jazz enthusiast. You are a rare new species of musician! OMG, I miss Jeff so much. He did good! And YOU! Everyone should see your vanilla solo on this tune at Crossroads for reference. Then watch this one again. Was that Seventh's at Xroads & tenth's at Ronnie Scott's? It was dense, man,. it was thick soup with croutons! It was music!

I've just realized how amazingly great this guy is a way to late just because I don't really like rock...biggest mistake in my musical life I think. He is THE jazz rock fusion guitar hall of Fame ! You could tell by the look in her eyes how much she just loved Jeff. In a Father/Daughter kind of way. Nothing dirty, though my mind tends to stray that way. You can just see the passion in he performance, and facial expressions. Who wouldnt? Being so young and touring with the most legendary guitarist ever. She was having the time of her life. I wish her many years of success. I mean, she had Page, Plant and Joe Walsh in her audience. And yes, Jeff totaly loved her as well.

Vinnie Colaiuta - very well know drummer, played with the who's who of musicians.... many studio albums, not only well known but as you say insane. He is on my top 20 drummer list.... somewhere near the top.

THE best electric guitarist ever.... and the young Tal right up there with him! What a night! The band were so tight and together! It doesn't get better than this!
