Someone call the professionals to school all these people as to what we need.

There is a reason chevron deference was struck down. Sit down while the adults talk and congress VOTES on the rules the EPA is to enforce. EPA doesn't get to make the rules.

Im from England, so forgive the ignorance in the question i ask. Aa a state do you have to go along with policies on carbon neutral rules.I thought federal rules only potained to civil liberty laws /justice and tax . Could a State ignore carbon neutral taxes and set petrolium / electricity prices as they see fit

Yes, but it gets highly technical. For example the federal government could withold money for education.

I'm an electrical utility design engineer, we have no intention on ever having 100% carbon free energy portfolio. The only person unaware of this fact is the old men in the white nursing home.

@thedude5040 I was wondering ghiw they could build the infrastructure to provide power to all vehicles using Electric instead of carbon fuels. Then theirs planes and Ferries

@JohnJohn-cu7nk we can supply enough carbon based electricity for everyone to have electric cars. Electric commercial planes and ships are not practical nor exist. Many of us engineers are perfectly okay with letting global warming happen and just engineer around the consequences. There will be many coastal cities that are lost, but they've had plenty of warnings and time to rebuild further inland. Heck it might be easier to make some kind of folded polymer to send into orbit that when unfolded and re-linked with itself, it could block like 10% of solar radiation from hitting the planet to buy humanity more time to get nuclear fusion commercially viable.
